چکیده

Hartree-Fock-Bogolyubov (HFB) calculations making use of a recently proposed microscopic effective pairing interaction are presented. The interaction was shown to reproduce the pairing properties provided by the realistic AV 18 force very accurately in infinite matter. Although finite-ranged and non-local, it makes 3D HFB calculations in coordinate space tractable. As a first application, basic pairing properties of calcium isotopes in their ground-state are studied. By comparing the results with those obtained using a standard Density-Dependent Delta Interaction, the crucial isovector character of the microscopic interaction is highlighted.

Bare vs effective pairing forces. A microscopic finite-range interaction for HFB calculations in coordinate space. Abstract We propose a microscopic effective interaction to treat pairing correlations in the 1 S 0 channel. It is introduced by recasting the gap equation written in terms of the bare force into a fully equivalent pairing problem. With this approach, the proposed interaction reprod...

Microscopic HFB+QRPA predictions of dipole strength for astrophysics applications

Large-scale QRPA calculations of the E1 strength are performed on top of HFB calculations in order to derive the radiative neutron capture cross sections for the whole nuclear chart. The spreading width of the GDR is taken into account by analogy with the second-RPA (SRPA) method. The accuracy of HFB+QRPA model based on various Skyrme forces with different pairing prescription and parameterizat...

Continuum HFB calculations with finite range pairing interactions

A new method of calculating pairing correlations in coordinate space with finite range interactions is presented. In the Hartree-Fock-Bogoliubov (HFB) approach the mean field part is derived from a Skyrme-type force whereas the pairing field is constructed with a Gogny force. An iterative scheme is used for solving the integro-differential HFB equations via the introduction of a local equivalen...

Local Density Approximation for Pairing Correlations in Nuclei

We introduce a natural and simple to implement renormalization scheme of the Hartree–Fock–Bogoliubov (HFB) equations for the case of zero range pairing interaction. This renormalization scheme proves to be equivalent to a simple energy cut–off with a position or density dependent running coupling constant. Subsequently, we present self–consistent HFB calculations with a full consideration of th...
